The short version: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and has no forms. I only receive personal information when you choose to contact me or work with me, I use it only to do that work, and I never sell it.
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Kim Go (“I”, “me”), an independent technology consultant based in Round Rock, Texas, handles personal information collected through yourcampaignmomentum.net (the “site”) and in the course of providing advisory, architecture and engineering services (the “services”).
Information I collect
When you visit the site. The site is a set of static pages. It does not use cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels, embedded third-party content or scripts, and it has no sign-up or contact forms. The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like any web host, Amazon’s infrastructure necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested in order to deliver the page and protect against abuse. I have not enabled website access logging, so I do not keep a record of individual visits.
When you contact me. If you email me or message me on LinkedIn, I receive whatever you choose to send: typically your name, email address, organisation, role and a description of what you need.
When we work together. During an engagement I may receive business contact details for you and your colleagues, billing details, and information about your organisation’s systems that is needed to do the work. Confidential client information is handled under the confidentiality terms of our engagement agreement or non-disclosure agreement, in addition to this policy.
When you pay. If you pay an invoice online, the payment is handled by a third-party payment processor. I receive confirmation of the payment, but I do not receive or store your full card or bank account number.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss whether and how I can help.
- To deliver, manage and invoice the services you engage me for.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records.
- To comply with the law, and to establish or defend legal claims.
I do not sell or rent personal information, I do not share it with anyone for their own marketing, and I do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.
Who I share it with
I share personal information only as needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers that support my business — email, cloud hosting, payment processing and accounting — which handle the information on my behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
- Professional advisers, such as an accountant or lawyer, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, where required by law or valid legal process.
- Anyone else only with your permission.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation it relates to. I keep engagement and billing records for as long as the engagement lasts and afterwards for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Client materials are returned or deleted at the end of an engagement as set out in the engagement agreement.
How I protect it
I use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls, appropriate to the sensitivity of what I hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security, but I will notify you as required by law if a breach affects your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to tell you what personal information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local privacy law. To make a request, email kimgo.mine@gmail.com. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and I may keep information I am legally required to retain. I will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children
The site and services are intended for businesses and professionals. They are not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Where information is processed
I am based in the United States, and the information described here is stored and processed in the United States. If you contact me from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects how I use information I already hold about you, I will tell you directly.
